The case studies describe work done for particular businesses, with their systems, their data and their constraints. Yours will differ. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a fixed price, or a commitment to scope or timing.

Nothing here is professional advice for your situation either. The write-ups explain how something was built; whether the same approach suits your business is a conversation, and that is what the free Workflow Review is for.

The words, code samples, diagrams and images on this site are mine, or belong to the clients whose work they describe. Read them, link to them, quote a paragraph with attribution. Republishing a write-up, or reusing it to represent someone else's work, is not on. If you want to use something here, ask me.

Client work shown on this site is published with the client's agreement, and confidential detail is left out on purpose.

I keep the site current and correct, and it still goes out of date. Figures describe what was true when a job was done. The site may be unavailable while it is being updated, or if something upstream fails.

Where this site links somewhere else, that site is not mine and I do not control what it says or does.

Certain rights under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded, and nothing on this page tries to. This section applies only so far as the law allows.

Subject to that, I am not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from relying on what it says. Where liability can be limited rather than excluded, mine is limited to supplying the information again.

A project runs on its own written terms, agreed before anything starts. Those terms set the price, what is included, what happens to your data and who owns the result, and they take precedence over this page in every respect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia deal with any dispute about them.
